Shayla is a high school senior who describes herself as outgoing, bubbly, and happy.
Her favorite color is yellow and she enjoys the great outdoors. When it came to picking a location for her senior photos she knew she wanted sunflowers. Whelp, we live in Western Washington and we don't get too many SUN-FLOWER (pun intended) fields. I managed to track one down and I'm so glad we did. This location fits Shayla's personality so well.
I couldn't resist snapping a few pictures of Shayla with her super supportive mom. She was my handy dandy assistant and held my reflector for me all night. Shayla and her mom had beautiful tattoos that they got to honor their Grandmother who had passed. I too recently had a loved one pass on and I found it hard to hold back the tears when I saw what a beautiful tribute she had for her grandmother.
